Guangyuyuan Chinese Medicine History and Culture Museum

Guangyuyuan Chinese Medicine History and Culture Museum is located at Qianmen Street Covering an area approximately l,000 square meters, the museum is composed of six parts: Preface Hall, Exhibition Hall of Chinese Medicine History and Culture, Guangyuyuan Historical Corridor, Guangyuyuan Comprehensive Exhibition Hall, Multimedia Hall and Exhibition Hall of Traditional Chinese Medicine Specimens. A brief history of the development of Chinese medicine from the ancient times to the Ming and Qing dynasties are exhibited in the museum. The collection includes dozens of ancient Chinese medicine books published during the Ming and Qing Dynasties and Republic of China, and nearly 100 Chinese medicine related artifacts, which present the development of Chinese medicine in different periods of history. The museum also develops various kinds of parent-child experience activities. Through knowledge explanation, herbs identification, handicraft making, watching documentaries and other ways, visitors can have an understanding of Chinese medicine culture, so that children and parents may be interested in Chinese medicine and Chinese medicine culture can come to life again.

Zhongwei Yuyuan Fushan

Zhongwei Yuyuan Fushan is located in the beautiful Beijing Medicinal Plant Garden, north of the Old Summer Palace. There is a herb garden covering 3,200 square meters in front of the restaurant, and more than 30 kinds of Chinese herbs are grown here for use in meals. The restaurant is surrounded by thousands of medicinal plants, forming a unique culture atmosphere of Chinese medicine flowers.
