ယန်စီမြစ်သည် စီချွမ်ပြည်နယ်ကို ဖြတ်သန်းစီးဆင်းပြီး Bashu ယဉ်ကျေးမှုများ ဖြစ်တည်လာစေခဲ့ပါသည်။ စီချွမ်ပြည်နယ်ထဲသို့ ဖြတ်သန်းစီးဆင်းသည့် ယင်းမြစ်အပိုင်းကို “ချွမ်မြစ် (Chuan)” ဟုလည်း ခေါ်ကြသည်။ ယင်းမြစ်အထက်ပိုင်းရှိ ရိပင်းမြို့ (Yibin) နှင့် လူးကျိုးမြို့ (Luzhou) သည် ရှုခင်းများ သာယာလှပပြီး အရက် နာမည်ကျော်သည်။ ချွမ်မြစ်သည် ယင်းမြို့နှစ်မြို့ကို သာယာပျော်ရွှင်မှုများ ဖန်တီးပေးစွမ်းပါသည်။
