Located in the southeast coast of China, Fujian is an important starting point of China's ancient Maritime Silk Road. Fujian is the greenest province in China with high forest coverage. Fujian has been reputed as "a land of blessings framed by mountains and seas". There are five World Heritage sites, including Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Tulou, Danxia (Taining), Kulangsu, and Quanzhou: Emporium of the World in Song-Yuan China. We have nine UNESCO World Intangible Cultural Heritages, such as Nanyin, Mazu Belief and Customs, and Fujian is the only province of China to be listed in the three series of UNESCO intangible cultural heritage. We have 145 National Intangible Cultural Heritages. Fujian is also the world-renowned hometown of tea.
